
lagoon amusement park and sonnet, the sought-after singer/songwriter behind the hit song on lagoon’s 2009 advertising campaign, are teaming up with local fox affiliate kstu fox13 and simmons media group for four rare live unplugged performances to help utah food bank services.
by bringing a nonperishable food item to lagoon friday july 17th and saturday july 18th fun-seekers of all ages can save $7.00 on a regular ride all day passport to lagoon. once the day passport is validated patrons can return for a second day of fun, on or before july 26th for only $9.00 plus tax.
sonnet is scheduled to perform her hit single and a few new tunes from her upcoming debut album on both dates at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. following each performance sonnet will be available for autographs and photos. popular comedian and radio dj keith stubbs will emcee sonnet’s performances.
