TJ is an independently working feature film editor specializing on the Final Cut Pro Studio / Macintosh Platform. He has been working since 2000 and has managed workflows ranging from 35mm to all forms of digital media.

TJ is completely self-taught professional who grew up on the set with his father, writer/director Tim Nelson, and went to a private boarding school for it’s extensive photo program. He also worked for Apple in their flagship store in NYC, as a specialist in Apple’s Pro Apps Division.

In his spare time, TJ also dabbles as a freelance photographer, video documentarian (thanks to the venerable Canon 5D mark II), and web geek ultra fanatic.
